SubMerge B.V. is an initiative from Dutch drinking water supply companies Vitens, Evides and Brabant Water. We are developing an autonomous in-pipe inspection robot.
Vitens
Vitens is the largest drinking water company in The Netherlands. We deliver top quality drinking water to 5.6 million people and companies in the provinces Flevoland, Fryslân, Gelderland, Utrecht and Overijssel and some municipalities in Drenthe and Noord-Holland. Annually we deliver 350 million m³ water with 1,400 employees, 100 water treatment works and 49,000 kilometres of water mains.
Evides
Evides Waterbedrijf is a water company that supplies reliable and tasty drinking water to 2.5 million clients in its home market, being the southern part of the province of Zuid-Holland, in the entire province of Zeeland, and the Brabantse Wal.
Drinking water is prepared from water sourced 80% from the river Maas, 16% from ground water, and 4% from dune water. We are the second-largest water company in The Netherlands based on supply connections, supply volumes and revenue.
Brabant Water
Brabant Water extracts, purifies, transports and supplies drinking and industrial water of high quality from 30 water production companies to more than 2.4 million residents and companies in the Dutch province of North Brabant. In addition, it supplies customised water and water-related products and services to companies and residential customers. Brabant Water is aware of its social responsibilities and therefore strives for sustainable and environmentally responsible solutions.
Demcon
Demcon is our main developer. Demcon industrial systems develops, creates and supports technical solutions for the manufacturing industry. Our solutions are modular, scalable and based on state-of-the-art industry standards. We can deliver everything from small customer specific semi-automatic modules to complete turnkey fully automatic production lines. We like to take on projects as early as possible to co-create the solution with the client’s vision. Based on our expertise in mechatronics and production technology, we develop advanced processes and build efficient production systems without losing the economic viability out of sight.
